Trevor Noah to host Google Pixel 11 launch event August 12

Trevor Noah will host Google’s Made by Google hardware event on August 12, 2026, the company said in a video on August 6.

Set in New York City, the event begins at 6 p.m. ET and will feature Alex Cooper, Shubman Gill, Ayami Nakajo, and Stephen Curry.

Jimmy Fallon hosted last year’s edition, which The Verge’s Victoria Song likened to a live taping of The Tonight Show. Google appears again to be courting a broad audience with the star power and late afternoon time slot.

The video also showed glimpses of a new phone and smartwatch, while Google previously teased the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Leaked images and specifications are already circulating, and consumers should expect a higher price tag.
