Sourcing and attribution

We prioritize primary sources, official statements, agency feeds and established publishers. Each story should name or link to the source material it was discovered from.

We do not present other outlets’ wording as our own. Facts may be summarized, but the article text on NewUJ is independently written.

How articles are written

Articles on NewUJ are researched, written and translated by AI models (Anthropic’s Claude) working to a published editorial standard. No person reviews each article before it is published.

A story is published only after its facts are checked against at least two independent sources. Claims that cannot be verified are left out, and the sources are linked at the end of the article. Stale, duplicated or out-of-policy items are not published.

A human publisher sets this policy, monitors what the system publishes and handles corrections, reports and removal requests. When an article is corrected, the correction is noted next to its update time.

Independence and responsibility

We do not sell placement in the news feed. Engagement counts on the site reflect reader activity on NewUJ, not invented popularity.

Our coverage is informational. It is not professional advice and it is not a guarantee that every fact is complete, current or error-free.

Corrections

When we confirm a factual error, we update the article. Material corrections may be noted on the article or handled through the corrections page. Removal requests and rights complaints are reviewed by the operator.
