The 36 clubs competing in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League learned their league-phase opponents on Thursday, as UEFA held the draw in Monaco.

Under the competition's league-phase format, each team was drawn against eight rivals — two from each of four pots — and will play four matches at home and four away. The pots were seeded using UEFA's club coefficient rankings, with the holders topping Pot 1.

Among the headline pairings, two-time defending champions Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona and Manchester City, while 15-time winners Real Madrid were drawn against Arsenal and Inter Milan. Manchester United and Bayern Munich were also paired together, a rerun of their famous 1999 final in Barcelona, which United won 2-1 with two stoppage-time goals.

The league phase begins on September 8-10, 2026, and runs through January 2027. The top eight teams after eight rounds advance directly to the round of 16, the next sixteen enter a knockout playoff, and the bottom twelve are eliminated. The final will be played on June 5, 2027, at Madrid's Estadio Metropolitano.
