Valar Atomics raises $1B led by Sequoia’s Shaun Maguire

Valar Atomics closed a $1 billion equity funding round led by Sequoia, the nuclear startup disclosed on August 3, 2026. The deal also includes a $200 million line of credit from Erebor and other banks, and Sequoia partner Shaun Maguire will join the company’s board.
