Lenovo Googlebook leaks show laptop and 2-in-1 tablet with Gemini key

On August 3, 2026, leaked press images shared by Digital Citizen and Android Headlines revealed Lenovo’s first Googlebook models: a laptop and a 2-in-1 tablet equipped with a dedicated Gemini hardware key and glowing light strips. The devices, among the first to run Google’s Android-based Googlebook platform announced in May 2026, are expected to launch in Fall 2026 alongside models from Acer, Asus, Dell, and HP.

The laptop appears in two sizes and features a light strip on its back resembling the glowing bar from official Googlebook renders released earlier in 2026. The tablet includes a similar light bar on its rear camera housing, akin to the glowing orb expected on the upcoming Pixel 11 lineup.

Keyboards on both devices show a new key on the bottom row with Google’s “G” branding, which Digital Citizen reports is a dedicated hardware button to summon Gemini. They also retain the Quick Insert button in place of the caps lock key, a feature Chromebooks introduced in 2024 to access the AI assistant.
