Airbnb Inc. shares jumped 9% in extended trading on August 6, 2026, after the company reported second-quarter results that topped Wall Street estimates and issued an upbeat revenue forecast, citing strong demand across all regions.

Revenue climbed 17% to $3.1 billion from $2.6 billion a year earlier. Net income rose to $816 million, or $1.03 per share, compared with $642 million in the same period last year.

For the third quarter, Airbnb projected revenue between $4.69 billion and $4.77 billion, well above the $4.61 billion analysts had expected, according to LSEG. At the midpoint of the range, year-over-year growth would be about 14%.

Bookings growth varied by region: high single digits in the U.S. and Canada, and in Europe and the Middle East; high teens in Asia Pacific; and about 20% in Latin America, driven by strength in Brazil and Mexico. "Overall, we continue to observe market share gains broadly across Latin America," the company said.

Free cash flow jumped 30% to $1.25 billion from $962 million a year earlier.
