Sony Pictures has released a final trailer for the upcoming film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmed "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." The movie is set to hit theaters in two weeks and serves as a direct sequel to 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

The story picks up after the events of "No Way Home," where Peter Parker asked Doctor Strange to erase his identity from everyone's memory to protect the multiverse. Now, Peter is fighting crime as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers him, while his former friends, including MJ and Ned, have moved on without him. The official synopsis describes a powerful, invisible villain threatening the city, and Peter must confront a transformation he may not be able to control.

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds. The cast also includes Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Liza Colon-Zayas as detective Jean DeWolf, Eman Esfandi as MJ's new boyfriend, and Trammell Tillman as Bill Metzger of the Department of Damage Control.

This film is intended to launch a new trilogy of Spider-Man movies with Holland in the lead role. The previous installment, "No Way Home," ended on a somber note, setting up this fresh start for the character. With the release just two weeks away, fans can expect to see how Peter navigates his isolated existence and faces the unseen threat that endangers those he loves.
