Google unveils Pixel 11 phones, Watch 5, and new Pixel Tag tracker

Google unveiled its latest hardware on August 12, 2026: the Pixel 11 series phones, the Pixel Watch 5, and its first own-brand Bluetooth tracker, the Pixel Tag. Pre-orders opened immediately, and shipping starts August 20.

The Pixel 11 lineup covers four models: the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL, and 11 Pro Fold. Each costs $100 more than its predecessor, with the Pixel 11 starting at $899 for 256GB of storage, the Pro at $1,099, the Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pro Fold at $1,899. All run on Google’s Tensor G6 processor and Android 17, and feature a redesigned camera bar with edge-to-edge glass and a metal frame.

Google says the Tensor G6 delivers up to 20% greater power efficiency, 25% faster browsing, and 15% faster app loading than the previous generation. The on-device Gemini Nano AI runs with higher quality and lower latency, enabling faster live translations and a sign language-to-text accessibility tool that transcribes American Sign Language into English via the camera.

Camera improvements include an upgraded image signal processor and tensor processing units that are 50% more powerful. Instant Night Sight captures low-light shots up to 4.5 times faster, and Pro models offer up to 120x Pro Zoom. A new HiLight feature on Pro and Pro Fold models adds a circular LED array around the flash; it glows when Gemini is active or a favorite contact calls, aiming to cut notification overload.

Priced at $399, the Pixel Watch 5 costs $50 more than its predecessor. The 41mm variant lasts up to 30 hours on a charge, while the 45mm model runs up to 40 hours. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated chip for 20% faster processing, 64GB of storage, and new health tracking: blood pressure patterns, insulin resistance, and a Readiness Score to guide recovery or workouts.

Google’s first branded tracker, the Pixel Tag, costs $30 and integrates with the Android Find Hub network. Measuring 1.8 inches tall, 1.1 inches wide, and 0.2 inches thick, it weighs 0.4 ounces with a coin cell and promises a year of battery life. The device includes an ultra-wideband chip for precision finding and works with devices running Android 9 and later.
