Xiaomi launched the SkyNomad N90 Max, its first extended-range electric SUV, on July 30, 2026. The vehicle boasts a claimed range of over 1,705 km (about 1,059 miles) and features a highly customizable interior that transforms into various living spaces.

The N90 Max will be available in five- and seven-seat configurations, along with a Camping Edition. The interior includes front seats that rotate 180 degrees, a sliding center armrest that becomes a small table, and second-row zero gravity seats with footrests. The Camping Edition adds a pop-up top, a rooftop bed platform, a tent attachment point, and a detachable table, with some models also offering a fridge and overhead speakers.

Xiaomi is positioning the N90 Max as a mobile living space, describing it as a "studio for one, a cafe for two, a lounge for three, a playground for the whole family." This approach targets consumers seeking versatility and comfort in an electric vehicle, blending transportation with lifestyle functionality.

The extended-range technology underpins the N90 Max, delivering the claimed 1,705 km range. Xiaomi also introduced the smaller SkyNomad N70 and N70 Max, which seat five and use the same extended-range platform, expanding its electric vehicle lineup.

This launch marks Xiaomi's entry into the extended-range EV market, building on its earlier electric vehicle efforts. The SkyNomad series emphasizes interior flexibility and range, aiming to differentiate itself in a competitive field.

Xiaomi has not yet announced pricing or availability for the SkyNomad N90 Max and its variants. The company's focus on a transforming interior suggests future models may continue to explore adaptable cabin designs.
