Apple is reportedly developing an updated version of its budget MacBook Neo, featuring a new processor and increased memory, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The new model is expected to run on the A19 Pro chip, which currently powers the iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Air, replacing the current laptop's A18 Pro processor originally used in the iPhone 16 Pro. The chip upgrade may also bring more RAM, likely 12GB compared to the original 8GB. This follows a similar report from analyst Tim Culpan earlier this year. The updated MacBook Neo is also expected to be offered in new colors. The report did not specify a release date or pricing for the updated model.
