Wreckreation 2 announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

Three Chords Limited, a studio founded by former Burnout developers, has announced Wreckreation 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is a sequel to the 2023 open-world racing title Wreckreation, which was originally published by THQ Nordic before the publisher cut ties and the studio closed. The new project aims to recapture the high-speed, crash-heavy gameplay of the Burnout series, particularly the fan-favorite Burnout Paradise. According to early previews from outlets like Top Gear and Traxion.GG, Wreckreation 2 is being positioned as a spiritual successor to that classic, with one reviewer calling it "win it or bin it stuff." The game's development is being led by veterans of the Burnout franchise, who are continuing their vision despite the earlier setbacks.
