Singer Lionel Richie was hospitalized in St. Louis on Monday, multiple entertainment outlets including TMZ, Rolling Stone and Fox News reported, two days after performing at The Muny amphitheater in Forest Park on Saturday night.

Witnesses at the Saturday show said Richie appeared to struggle during the closing song of his set, "All Night Long," and asked his team to bring him a chair so he could finish the performance seated. He checked into a hospital afterward for testing, according to the reports.

Sources close to Richie's tour cited by TMZ said the hospitalization is believed to be related to mild dehydration, and that he could be discharged as soon as Tuesday. Richie's representatives have not issued a public statement on his condition.

It is the second time this summer that Richie has been hospitalized following a concert. In late June, he cut short a show at Grand Casino Arena in Minnesota after telling the crowd he felt "dizzy" and "strange" mid-performance, and subsequently postponed dates in Chicago and Columbus, Ohio, on doctors' orders.

Richie, one of the best-selling artists in music history, has continued select tour dates this summer despite the recurring health scares.
